HotelsByDay is a day-use hotel booking platform covering the UK, USA, Canada, Latin America and Spain. Instead of a full night, you book a private room for a set block of hours — perfect for layovers, early check-in, late checkout, remote work, new parents, or a few hours to freshen up between meetings. Hundreds of hotels are on the platform, from budget-friendly to boutique, bookable in minutes via the website or app.
Get up to 20% off when you top up your MasterKey loyalty points with HotelsByDay, using code our code at checkout. It’s an easy way to boost your points balance and bank bigger savings on future day-use hotel bookings.
Buying £50 worth of MasterKey points with the 20% discount means you pay £40 – an instant £10 saving towards your next day stay.
Anyone can use it – new and existing HotelsByDay customers with a MasterKey account qualify for the discount on points purchases.
Our code gives you up to 20% off when you buy MasterKey loyalty points directly through HotelsByDay, rather than only earning them from bookings.

Yes, points you buy can be redeemed against day-use hotel stays across the HotelsByDay platform.
You’ll need a HotelsByDay account to hold and spend MasterKey points, but signing up is free.
HotelsByDay doesn’t run a separate NHS or Blue Light discount for MasterKey points, but there’s no ID or verification needed here – NHS staff and key workers can use our code just like everyone else. For more ways to save, see our full HotelsByDay discount codes page.
MasterKey is HotelsByDay’s own loyalty scheme, so this code is really about boosting the points you already earn on every stay. There’s no student-specific scheme, but students can combine our code with the coins they collect from day bookings – check our full HotelsByDay discount codes page for other options.
