Port De Pollenca to Alcudia

Pollenca Alcudia Cycling Route

We rode this 40-mile circular route when our legs needed a break from climbing, trading mountain passes for coastal roads and quiet inland lanes. The route follows the bay from Port de Pollenca to Alcudia, then cuts inland to Platja de Muro before turning at Can Picafort onto meandering roads toward Muro for the first proper coffee stop. The terrain stays gentle enough for conversation, with just enough rolling sections to keep things interesting without destroying you.

After Muro, the route skirts Sa Pobla and climbs gradually to Buger, crossing the main highway before dropping into the beautiful Cami Vell de Campanet valley route back to Pollenca. This valley stretch delivers the best scenery of the day, with olive groves and traditional Spanish roads that see far fewer cyclists than the coastal routes. The whole loop works perfectly for riders wanting Mediterranean views and proper Spanish villages without committing to serious elevation. Plan coffee stops in Muro and take time in Alcudia’s old town if you fancy a lunch break before the valley section.
