Glamping Brecon Beacons
Located in South West Wales, Belle Glamping is about a 1-hour drive to the main parts of Brecon Beacons National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, waterfall walks, and unspoilt countryside views. It’s also an hour from the Welsh coast, offering experiences like coasteering and visits to charming Welsh seaside towns.

Belle Glamping
Belle Glamping is tucked away, with only sheep on the neighbouring farm for company. Set at the end of a cobbled track on the outskirts of the village of Ffarmers, it’s very peaceful and also benefits from dark skies for stargazing at night.

Glamping Site Information
Upon arrival, your host will give a tour of the site. Be aware, there’s quite a lot to take in to fully enjoy the facilities. Everything feels very homely and clearly crafted with love.
The main part of the site is in the host’s garden, sectioned off by a row of trees. It includes the campfire, cooking shed, hot tub, toilet, and shower shed. There are also a few glamping tents and caravans for extra accommodation.

Glamping Tents
In the second field, a beautiful grassy area, are all the other glamping tents where you’ll be staying. This lovely field offers views across the countryside and plenty of open space to walk your dog or just soak in the nature. Each tent is fitted with a mattress and full bedding, plus extra covers if it gets a bit chilly overnight.

Glamping Tent Interiors
Fairy lights and a tent candelabra in the centre add to the cosy atmosphere. The flooring is a high-quality coir weave to keep your feet warm. The tents are very well maintained and spotless, and we enjoyed such a great night’s sleep that we had to be coaxed out of bed in the morning.

Glamping Site Facilities
The onsite facilities cater for everything you need to eat, cook, and freshen up. There’s what we call the kitchen shed, stocking all the cutlery, an oven, stove, kettle, and pots and pans. The hob and oven are powered by an external gas bottle, providing enough rings for a group to cook a dinner or breakfast fry-up.
Beside the shed are the sink and washing-up facilities, powered by an electric water heater on a timer.

Glamping Toilet and Shower
A compost drop toilet, quite common at glamping sites, is available here. While not for those seeking luxury, it’s environmentally friendly and worth getting accustomed to. The shower is on the other side and, again, gas bottle powered, providing hot water on demand. Perfect for freshening up after a long day’s adventure.

Campfire and Banquet Tent
Evenings at Belle Glamping are enjoyable, with a large campfire area perfect for relaxing with a few drinks. Wood is provided, though some chopping might be needed, so bring your lumberjack friends along. In case of rain, there’s a large covered area with tables and benches, plus some games for the evening. Another larger caravan, called the static, is also on site and can be used in bad weather for socialising.

Glamping Hot Tub
Arguably the main draw of this site is the wood-fired hot tub. It comfortably fits six adults and can be used at any time, day or night. To get it going, it takes about 2-4 hours, depending on if it’s been used recently, as it retains heat well. A stove at the bottom needs regular wood top-ups, which are provided. The water isn’t treated or drained after each group, so it can be a bit murky relying on the splashes and later on top ups to keep it fresh. However it does get really warm and toasty and is great in the evenings to wind down in.
