I get through walking and hiking trousers really quickly usually, I spend a lot of time either scrambling and using my whole body so am always on the look out for something that’s tough and can take the scrapes and bumps that I give them. Luckily the Terras hiking trousers have been created with a high abrasion resistant material on the keens, rear panels and hems which in lab testing successfully exceeded 40,000 rubs so they’re pretty tough!
Finding the right hiking trousers is always a tough choice but I was really happy with the Terras hiking trousers due to their comfort along with their range of features. Along with normal hand pockets they have three zipped pockets which can comfortably hold maps, compass, phone and a torch. Meaning if I want to go out for a long hike I can carry most of my equipment on me not requiring a backpack and have easy and quick access to it.
The trousers also fit really comfortably giving enough room to be versatile while not feeling at all baggy. The lower legs have an expansion zip if they are to be fitted around large boots and the belt included gives you a secure fit around your waist to prevent any slippage.

The strong and durable design of these trousers also keeps you warm when facing a blustery climb or hike whilst giving you protection from the elements with their water resistance technology. If they get wet they are also quick dry meaning you can get them back on the next day ready to do it all again. Finally they look the part and will go well with any outdoor equipment meaning you can take on the mountains in style.
