City Cruises (part of City Experiences) runs sightseeing, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and themed cruises along the Thames in London, plus hop-on hop-off river passes. It suits sightseers, couples on date nights, families, tourists ticking off London landmarks, and groups booking parties, weddings or corporate events on the water.
City Cruises is offering 10% off Thames sightseeing cruises for school groups of 20 or more. It’s an easy way to take a class on a floating history lesson past Tower Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, with the saving applied automatically at group booking – no code required.
A group of 25 pupils booking standard sightseeing tickets at £15 each would normally pay £375 – with 10% off, the trip costs £337.50, saving £37.50.
Any school booking a group sightseeing cruise of 20 or more pupils and staff can use this discount – there’s no membership or ID check needed, just enter the correct group size when booking.
Beyond this school groups deal, City Cruises runs other offers worth checking: 50% off for Black Friday, 5% off Thames sightseeing, and 10% off via rewards points back. Compare these against your group’s needs before booking.
No. The 10% off is applied automatically when you book a sightseeing cruise for a group of 20 or more.
It applies to scheduled sightseeing cruises departing from piers such as Westminster, Waterloo and Greenwich – check your chosen route and date at booking.
Your school group needs at least 20 people, including pupils and accompanying adults, to unlock the 10% saving.
There’s no end date on this offer, so you can plan a school trip across term time subject to availability.
This particular offer is aimed at school groups rather than NHS or Blue Light Card holders, so there’s no separate key worker route here. NHS staff and carers booking individually may still get an automatic reduction at checkout – see our full City Cruises discount codes page for those options.
This school groups deal is separate from City Cruises’ student and loyalty schemes. Students travelling individually can still save via Student Beans, and anyone can join City Experiences Rewards for repeat-booking perks – full details are on our City Cruises discount codes page.
