Gatwick Airport Lounge Review
This lovely, well maintained, smaller lounge offers comfort and a friendly atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and happy to chat if you’re travelling alone. The lounge is kept spotless, with attentive staff who clear tables regularly. The decor fosters a relaxed environment where time tends to fly by while you unwind. It’s perfect for couples, solo travellers, and small families. However, it might not be ideal if you’re a business traveller or looking for a quiet space to nap.

Directions to My Lounge Gatwick South Terminal
You’ll find the lounge in Gatwick South Terminal on the 1st floor. Just follow the signs for My Club Lounge, which is located at the end of the corridor near the toilets in the upstairs shopping area. The access is flat and wheelchair friendly. Instead of a standard check-in, the welcome area feels more like a cosy home, with a friendly team ready to greet you.

My Lounge Gatwick Atmosphere
My Lounge Gatwick is smaller than typical busy airline lounges, but this is part of its charm. It makes you feel more like you’re being welcomed into a friend’s home rather than surrounded by strangers in a large cafeteria. The decor continues the homey, boutique coffee shop vibe, with comfy loungers, sofas, and dining chairs around a large work table, no bulky, generic lounge chairs here.
Soft background music and plenty of plants enhance the calming atmosphere. Glass partitions allow natural light to fill the space, creating an airy, inviting feel.

Lounge Seating Gatwick Airport
In keeping with its cosy theme, the lounge offers a variety of relaxed and comfortable seating options, including sofas, leather booths, and standard chairs. There aren’t many places to put your feet up or take a quick nap, except for two corner sofas near the entrance. Plus, there’s a seating area with a runway view, perfect for watching planes take off.

Food & Drink Gatwick Airport Lounge
Food and drinks are often the highlight of any lounge experience, and My Lounge offers a simple but tasty selection. There’s a snack station with salads and nachos with toppings, and a main menu featuring rice bowls for making your own burritos with beans, vegetables, pulled chicken, and comforting mac and cheese. While more snack options would be nice, the quality of what’s available was quite good.

Drinks & Refeshements Gatwick Airport My Lounge
The self-service bar is always a popular feature. We checked it out for selection and quality. It included two taps with branded beer and cider, though unfortunately, both were empty when we visited, and the staff didn’t refill them. Spirits and house wines are available via self-pour dispensers, and there’s a soft drink station and a coffee machine made from whole beans.

Wifi & USB My Lounge Gatwick
My Lounge Gatwick isn’t geared toward business travellers; there aren’t USB ports everywhere, but plenty of power outlets for personal devices. It’s a laid-back lounge, so this might not be the best fit if you need USB or plug access everywhere. Free WiFi is available, and it worked reliably for us.

Facilities in My Lounge
The lounge has three private, gender neutral toilets and a disabled friendly toilet. They include sinks and large mirrors for freshening up, but there are no showers or spa facilities. If you have a long layover, Gatwick offers a separate shower and spa lounge you might enjoy. The facilities are clean and well-kept, with no surprises.

Family Friendly Airport Lounge Gatwick
There’s a small game zone for families with kids, featuring a TV, a game console, and a football table. During our visit, we saw a dad and son enjoying the space and it will help to occupy younger visitors for longer visits.

Outside Terrace Gatwick South Terminal
A lovely feature is the outdoor terrace, which, although small, is a great spot for watching planes and enjoying a drink outside. A designated area for smokers is tucked behind a plant wall, so non-smokers can relax outside without being smoked out.
